Ann Dorelli Bussey Griffiths

Mrs. Ann Dorelli Bussey Griffiths, 78, of Vesta Community, Carlton, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Meadows Health Hospital in Vidalia.

Mrs. Griffiths was born in Augusta on January 26, 1943, daughter of the late Drew and Mae Jordan Bussey. She was the office manager of her family business, 3G Group Sales. Ann was a devoted prayer warrior and an active member of Vesta Baptist Church. She was “Grams” to her family and absolutely adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and working in her flower gardens as long as her health permitted. Her son, Gil Rogers, preceded her to Heaven.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Terry Cemlyn Griffiths; sons and their wives: Brent and Leigh Griffiths of Carlton and Braiden and Jennifer Griffiths of Lexington; grandchildren: Bryce and her husband Luke Boggs, Jayden Griffiths, Elisse Griffiths, and Emilee Griffiths; sister, Helen McCloud of N. Augusta, SC; and numerous other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and son Gil, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Curtis Bussey and Conrad Bussey.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no formal visitation. Those wishing to pay their respects to Ann may do so on Tuesday, January 25, from 12:00-7:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at Athens Memory Gardens, and a celebration of life will be announced in the spring.
