Brandon Randell Smith

Brandon Randell Smith, 41, husband of 12 years to Jessica Smith, died on April 25, 2022.
Born on January 10, 1981 in Athens, GA, he was the son of Randy (Denise) Smith and Linda (David) Gatchell. Brandon had worked for the Athens Clarke County Fire Department for 13 years. He had worked in construction all of his life and for the last five years he was self-employed as the owner and operator of the Guttersmith. He was a member of Price Avenue Baptist Church. Brandon truly loved his family and spending time with his three children.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three children that he adored: Dylan, Olivia and Drake Smith; paternal grandparents; Gene and Hazel Smith and siblings: Taylor Gardner, Lindsey Leist, Bonnie Hutchings, Chelsea Pardue, Ashely Smith, Tiffani Harvey-Patterson, Rebecca Hale, Francis Finch, Sierra Roberts, Brooke Smith and Marykatheryn Roberts.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 10AM at Prince Avenue Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Oconee Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Brandon Smith Family Donation Fund at any Oconee State Bank branch.
