Carol Ann Calvert Price, age 89, transitioned to Heaven April 2, 2022 with family at her side in Hendersonville, TN.
Carol was a very special lady who left her family with a legacy of love to carry on for generations. She loved big, worked hard and enjoyed serving others.
Carol was married twice in her life, first in 1951 to the late Thomas Elford Calvert who died in 1980, then to former Athens Police Chief, Everett Price.
She is survived by her brother John Taylor of Anderson SC, her sons Colonel Mark Calvert, USA Retired, and his wife Jean; Lieutenant General Paul Calvert and his wife Traci; Carol’s daughter, Robin Ann Berry and her husband John; along with 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the Family will be held April 14, 2022 from 6 to 8 PM, and on April 15 at 10 AM followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11 AM. Visitation and Service will be held at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, EAST in Athens, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Carol Ann Calvert Price to Samaritan’s Purse at https://www.samaritanspurse.org or the Alzheimer’s Association at https://www.alz.org .
