Leila Mae Walters

Leila Mae Walters, age 77, of Athens, GA departed this life on February 10, 2022. A private funeral service will be held. Visitation, Tuesday 2-6 PM, at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Benita Walters and brothers, Rufus P. Johnson, Jr. and Freddie Johnson.
Survivors include: her son, Derek (Johnetta) Walters; bonus son, Tony (April) Phillips; bonus daughter, Carolyn Dial; sister, Mattie (Al) Thornton; mother in law, Susie Walter; sisters-in-law, Corine Walter, Mae Walter; brothers-in-law, Willie (Joanne) Walter, Joseph (Perlene) Walter, Alfred (Delois) Walter, Eddie (Emma) Walter and Roy (Magnolia) Walter; two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
