Leon Jerry Meeler

Leon Jerry Meeler, 77, husband of 61 years to the late Edna Osborne Meeler, died Thursday, June 13, 2019. Born in Athens, he was the son of the late Dennis Leon Meeler and Sue Burkhalter Meeler. Jerry was the owner and operator of Jerry’s Towing. Survivors include four children: Randy and Glenda Meeler, Jeff and Carolyn Meeler, Lori Meeler and Steve and Linda Meeler; sisters: Gail Kittle, Ann Sosbee, Linda Bragg, Debra Colley and Peggy Seay; six grandchildren: Mandy, Brittany, Justin, Bridget, Danielle and Josh and six great grandchildren: Landon, Micah, Mila, Katelyn, Bishop, Townes and Kennedy. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11AM at Oconee Memorial Park. Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes, West, Watkinsville, GA is in charge of arrangements.
