Linda Sue Griffiths

Linda Sue Griffiths, 69, of Watkinsville, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019. Born in Florida to the late Clarence Miller and Frances Marie Pelt, Linda later moved to Madison, Georgia, and then lived in the Athens area for 28 years. Linda was a faithful servant of the Lord, her beloved church, Grace Fellowship, and her family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by six of her siblings. Linda is survived by her husband, Richard Griffiths; her four children: David McCauley, Michael (Kellie) McCauley, Dianne (Jamie) Savage, and Sherry (Mitchell) Clark; five grandchildren: Justin Savage, Ryan Savage, Jill McCauley, Peyton Clark, and Mattie Kate Sue Clark; and four sisters: Emma Jean Depew, Eleanor Dickerson, Elaine Allen, and Sharon McSwain.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Fellowship. Interment will follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
