Ms. Margaree Powers, age 89, of Athens, Georgia passed on May 6, 2018.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Russell and Shelia Alexander; son, Kenneth Powers; sisters, Florida B. Smith and Ruth Sims; brother, Ruben Smith; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 10, 2018 from the Coy C. Williamson, Jr. Memorial Chapel, with interment in Athens Memory Gardens.
Gardenview Funeral Chapel of Athens is in charge of arrangements.
