Nancy Carter Parks

On August 17, 2021 Nancy Carol Carter Parks (87) graduated from this realm to the very presence of Jesus, her Lord and Savior, and His Father, God.
“Miss Nancy” as she was affectionately known, is survived by her loving husband, William Pat Parks, and her two daughters, Patricia Carol and Cheryl Lynn Parks Snader, her husband, Thomas and their two sons, Jackson Price Snader and William Mason Snader. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Jan Parks Brown, her niece, Lisa Brown Price, and her two nephews, David and Joey Carter.
“Miss Nancy” was born to David and Connie Carter on December 22, 1933. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Joe Carter and his wife Gail.
She was a graduate of Winthrop University and was employed during her lifetime as a teacher at several schools. She also worked at Athens Regional Hospital and the University of Georgia. Her last employment was at Watkinsville First Baptist Church where she lovingly served as the church secretary for over 26 years.
There will be a Memorial Service in the Chapel at Watkinsville First Baptist Church on Saturday, August 28, at 11:00 A M.
