Ray Charles Griffeth

Ray Charles Griffeth, age 62, of Athens, GA passed away on July 29, 2018 after a long illness. He was the son of the late Robert and Mamie Griffeth. He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Sims and brother, Mike Griffeth. Ray Charles was a 1974 graduate of Cedar Shoals High School and a 1986 graduate of Mercer University.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Rozetta Griffeth; two step-children, Laquita Sheats and Dannell Sheats; god-daughter, Amanda Roberts; six grandchildren; mother-in-law, Emma Hunter; father-in-law, Daniel Hunter, other relatives and friends.
