Mrs. Rena Cross Johnson, age 91, of Athens, Georgia passed on January 6, 2019.
Survivors include her daughters, Pat (Dewey) Sheats, Gloria (Leroy) Smith and Cynthia (Melvin) Mitchell; son, Elder Burgess (Modena) Johnson, III; ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 11, 2019 from the Coy C. Williamson, Jr. Memorial Chapel of Gardenview, with interment in Athens Memory Gardens. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service.The family will receive friends at residence 297 Macon Ave. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Church of Christ Building fund.
