Richard Allen Hutchins Sr.

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Richard Allen Hutchins Sr. age 81 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Saturday, May 7, 2022. Mr. Hutchins was born in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Clifford Dotson Hutchins and the late Willie Belle Nash Hutchins. Mr. Hutchins was a retired Graphic Artist with Creative Fixtures working around the Atlanta area and was of the Methodist Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Hutchins of Jefferson, GA; two daughters, Deitre George (Barry) of Winder, GA and Jennifer Belle Hutchins of Jefferson, GA; three sons, Richard Allen Hutchins Jr. of Winder, GA, Justin Hutchins (Melissa) of Winder, GA, and Jason Clifford Hutchins Sr. (Amy) of Braselton, GA; six grandchildren, Travis, Jason Jr., Levi, Cheyanne, Marjorie and Benjamin. Brother, Clifford Donald Hutchins of Flowery Branch, GA.

A cryptside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday May 12, 2022, at Athens Memory Gardens 5195 Lexington Road, Athens, GA 30605 with Reverend Ben Parker officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday May 11, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
